Wasing sees things differently. That we are inherently part of nature and that what harms the planet ultimately harms us; everything is connected. And it is from this alternative narrative in an ever-changing world that the iconic Mount was born as a fresh and pioneering space for people and planet to connect, unplugged from everyday reality.
Solstice On The Mount 2024 continues Wasing’s journey into providing immersive musical experiences in the heart of nature. We invite you to join us for an incredibly special, alcohol-free evening where we will celebrate music from different parts of the world in a unique, natural setting; connected, present and in the moment.
We are proudly supporting Médicins Sans Frontières, an international humanitarian organisation providing medical care in more than 70 countries, who treat patients on medical needs alone & provide life-saving care in crisis zones. For each Solstice ticket sold, £2 will be paid to MÉDICINS SANS FRONTIÈRES|DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS (UK) (Charity Number: 1026588)
ARTISTS
Nick Mulvey
Previously a member of the critically acclaimed group Portico Quartet, Nick Mulvey frames themes of nature, spirituality and personal growth as a focal point embellished with his distinct blend of folk, pop and intricate guitar work alongside poetic and introspective lyrics. 2024 sees the 10th anniversary of his Mercury Prize nominated debut solo album First Mind Featuring the hit singles Fever To The Form and Cucurucu.
Rodrigo y Gabriela
Rodrigo y Gabriela are long-established masters of their instruments whether it is Rodrigo’s shimmering, hummingbird flourishes or Gabriela’s extraordinary engine-room rhythm. Dancing between world and rock and teaming with Hispanic passion, the fire in Rodrigo y Gabriela’s music stems from the duo’s life-long passion for jazz, flamenco and Latin creating unique and truly explosive performances on just two acoustic guitars.
Awarë (Option 2 Ticketholders only)
Born from the creative synergy of dear friends Bogdan and Matias, AWARË are the musical odyssey that transcends the conventional boundaries of sound. Through silence and stillness, intertwined harmonies and converged instruments, AWARË create a captivating and immersive atmosphere, inviting listeners to embark as co-creators on a soul stirring experience. Vivacious rhythms begin to gradually awaken the senses, energy rises into a cheerful dance, and culminates in a collective celebration of life through the universal language of music. AWARË ́s music serves as a powerful catalyst to step into a realm of oneness, where hearts unite and spirits soar.
Ajeet (Option 2 Ticketholders only)
Ajeet is a world music artist weaving inspiration from traditional folk to mystical and meditative soundscapes. Bringing together sounds from around the world to offer a musical experience which transcends boundaries and takes listeners on a journey through melody and sonic texture. Ajeet’s music is healing, rejuvenating and a place of deep connection. For the Fireside Sessions Ajeet will be performing an exquisite striped back performance with her mesmerising vocals accompanied by delicate guitar.
Host
Chris Fitchew is part jester, part comedian, full joy alchemist, and space holder who has travelled the world to hone his crafts. He believes that one of the greatest access points in finding our purpose and self-healing is through laughter, joy, and play; for ourselves, our communities, and uniting the human race.

CAMPING
Access to Wasing’s campsite overnight is available for Option 2 ticketholders. Bring your own tent or campervan. The campsite includes drinking water and toilets. The campsite opens at 3pm on 20th June & closes at 12 noon on 21st June 2024.
